Well that is certainly good news for my students! I do note that the salary level is the lowest of the 8 careers noted. I will blame this on our collective inability to achieve a level of respect for our skills and knowledge. There are a lot of issues currently dogging the profession but our protracted battles with the bitter decorators and turf conscious architects is certainly a big one.

It is up to you to get out there and help us get the profession to a place of such respect that demand will dictate salaries that are commensurate with all other building design professions.
