Much to CIDA/NCIDQ’s chagrin HGTV has become the arbiter of what interior design is and who can be an interior designer. Like I’ve said a million times before, it is time to let them have it. If we (the NCIDQ certified) interior designers expect any form of respect we have to stop calling ourselves “interior designers”…Unless of course we act like Lady Gaga.
