In Ohio it is perfectly acceptable to call yourself an interior designer – as long as you have a pulse. While next door in Pennsylvania the state is considering the most stringent interior design practice act in the nation.
Let’s hope this hippo stays in Dayton.
PROFESSIONALINTERIORDESIGNER is fully aware that the effort to legislate the practice of ID is going to be fraught with inequities and jurisdictional confusion. It has been that way since the start of the licensing effort in the early 70’s and it will be that way for several generations to come.
All the more reason to take a step back and consider where we are going with this. Does anybody know?
