PROFESSIONALINTERIORDESIGNER  can relate to Mr. Turel’s rant/manifesto.  I am convinced that if we all (globally)  get on the same page we can prove to the world that we are so much more than color pickers and pillow tossers with a flair for drama. Unfortunately architects are beating us to the punch because we (professional interior designers) are way too concerned with upsetting the status quo.

For us to focus on improving the lives of those that may not even have access to shelter on a daily basis, much less afford the service of design, can only improve and validate our unique value to society.

Now if we can just figure out how to make it fashionable and entertaining.
